Transurb Technirail is a result of the merger in 1999 of Transurb Consult, created in 1973 with the aim to export the know-how of its shareholder all over the world, and Technirail, another subsidiary of Belgium Railways specialized in procurement of railway equipment, maintenance activities, manufacturing of driving simulators.
